2022 Grass Drags Info Posted

Dates have been announced for the 2022 Brainerd Snodeos Grass Drags and Swap Meet! Head over to the Grass Drags page for dates and more information! We hope to see you there!

September 18th and 19th at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds! Extra planning is ongoing for our event this year due to COVID, so updates are slow going, but we are planning our event and will have more info available soon! Check out the flyer here!

GRASS DRAGS 2019

ATTENTION IN THE PITS! It’s time to start getting geared up for the 17th Annual Brainerd Snodeos Grass Drags and Swap Meet!!! Join us at the Crow Wing County Fair Grounds on September 13th – 14th for an action packed day of grass drags! When you’re not watching the racing action, take a wander through the swap meet and get equipped with all the parts, accessories and toys you’d ever need! More info coming soon! Radar Run Cancelled

The radar run on Saturday Feb 23rd at Upper South Long has been canceled due to flooding on the track. Water has been pouring up from the cracks in the ice due to the weight of snow on the ice.

Radar Run Schedule

Schedule for the Radar Runs at Upper South Long Lake on Saturday February 23, 2019

Registration 8 am to 10 am

Drivers Meeting 9:30 am at the timing shed

Speed Runs start at 10 am

Lunch 12:30 pm approx

Trophy Presentation at 4 pm

Cost is $25 for 5 runs plus $10 per sled for insurance.

2019 Grass Drags Tentative Date

Hello Everyone! I’m spamming your feed in January to announce the tentative dates for Grass Drags 2019! We are currently planning for September 13th & 14th at the Crow Wing County Fair Grounds. Dates are still subject to change and details are still being worked out. Stay tuned for updates!

Radar Run on 2/23/19 confirmed

The radar run on Feb 23, 2019 on South long lake Paradise Resort) is confirmed. We will need about 12 helpers, for registration, start line, timing and scoring, radar control, and safety anyone who would like to help please contact Kris.

Ride on January 5

Jack is planning a ride on Saturday January 5th to Akeley, Snow permitting. Ride will leave at 10 am from shack. Check with Jack before you leave for shack to make sure snow conditions are a go.

Winter 2018-19 Brainerd Snodeos Club Ride Schedule

** Tentative schedule proposed for both weeknight rides and weekend rides. All rides dependent on snow conditions and who’s riding.

**Weeknight Rides- roughly 15+ miles- Meet at the Groomer Shack at 6:00 PM. Will be leaving the Groomer Shack by 6:30 PM

**Weekend Rides- 50+ miles, but can be shorted based on group preference. Meet at the Groomer Shack at 10:00 AM.

Sat. 12/15- Polish sleds

Tue. 12/18- Sit in garage and stare at sleds
